A small preview of what is to come in Tuesday and a Half

Okay, this is just a small little clip of chapter 21.  I have posted up to chapter 18, so I probably should have just waited three more chappies to post this, but I just finished writing it.  This almost made me cry to write!  Haha.  No, seriously.  If any of you haven't read T. If you haven't read it, a little bit of background- Skye is the main character, her... er... guy friend type guy is Phantom.  Yes, he is actually a phantom- sort of.  No, Phantom is a shadow.  Enjoy!!!!!!!!

“Goodbye, Skylark,” he whispered, turning his head one last time.  A distant, melancholy look was glassed over his stormy eyes.  He turned his back on me once more and disappeared into the forest.

I stumbled after him uselessly.  He had teleported.  He had shadow-hopped.

He had left.

I tried my best to suck air into my lungs, but my vision just clouded over as tears ran down my face.  I sobbed and hit the ground hard, landing on my knees.

I could only choke out one small whisper, three small words, yet no one but the awakened forest creatures could hear.

“Phantom… you’re gone.”
