Just then Carry heared footsteps coming down the hawlway. She hid the note she had in her hands in the inside pocket of her jacket. She didn't know how to explain the note without Mary calling her a snoop. Mary sat down at the table again and moved the flower vace out of her way. "Um...Mary" said Carry. Mary dropped her fork and looked at her friend. Without saying a word Mary looked down at the table at the ripped envolope and said "You opened the envolope". Carry grinned and said in a sarcastic voice "No there's a torn envolope with nothing in it". Mary giggled. Carry was always trying to be funny. "Where is the note?" asked Mary. Carry dug the note out of her jacket and straitened the crumbled piece of paper. After a couple of moments Mary brook the silence with a gasp. "Calm down" said Carry. "I've got a plan". "Well tell me then" burst Mary inpaitently. "Okay all we need to do is send a note back asking him when we will plan the robbery and what his adress is. The police can take it from there. Mary rushed down the hawl and came back a second later with her laptop. She sat at the table and started clicking around. Carry stood beside her friend looking at the screen in front of her. Mary started to type a note and then printed it out. Mary seeled the note in a thin envolope and wrote a fake adress but said it was from a guy nammed "Jack". Mary and Carry got a good night sleep and in the morning they got up before Carson. "Come on" whispered Carry. Mary rubbed her eyes and complained "Why do we have to wake up at six in the morning just to mail an envolope". Carry shrugged her shoulders and said "I like being a detective the right way". Mary complained a little bit more but found herself sticking the envolope in the mail box.
