1. There is this girl named Kendall, who has to go to this camp, which she thinks is very stupid. She meets another girl named Alexander who has the same problem. Kendall learns that not everyone appreciates the way she acts, especially her want-it-all mother Keela. Her mother dies suddenly and she has to go back for the reading of the will. She finds a father she never knew, and an old woman who changes her life.
2. Della is devastated when she is tranproted to an old orphanage. She uses her diary as a friend that she'd always wanted. She befriends a street urchin, Donny, whom she learns to trust with her life when the orphanage is blown up by terrorists. Her and Alexis, a 6 six year old are the only survivors and together, they embark on a journey to find out the life they've heard about in fairytales.
