Susmi could not believe it.
Could not.
And yet, strutting the best she could, swinging her hips from side to side like her walking instructor had drilled into her head over and over again, she couldn't help but feel satisfied.
Very.
Left, right, left right, she coached herself, inwardly thanking her dear Moley for the generosity he had shown in insisting she get a proper etiquette coach. Susmi, being the trusting, adoring, semi-imbecilic person she was, agreed with swooning breath. But really, she was quite a good coach, and Susmi even tried imitating her very posh English accent. Though afterwards, of course, she learned that she was really a Romanian, and not British at all.

Susmi blew kisses to the crowd every now and then; of course, it was her duty, being the date of - swoon - the one and only Mole Milo Ventigimlia, the hunk from 'Heroes', as he was now advertised; she had coined up the nickname.

Her smile disappeared momentarily, as she glimpsed the gorgeous Skandar talking with another co-star, Liam Aiken, with Maryam at their sides, laughing at something Skandar had said. But the smile popped up again, as another annoying camerman got in their face. She felt a tap on her shoulder, and turned, grinning, expecting another grinning reporter, his mic stuck in her face.
As she learned instants later, it was not a microphone she got in her face at all.
It was, quite simply and frankly put,

a PUNCH.
