in Darkness... with Breathe Carolina flowing through me

Was he the only one who’s ever taken the life of another? Was he the only one who’s ever sinned this way? No, but he will be like the rest of them. Karma will seek him out—evil deeds never go unpunished. And he’s been sentenced to consumption by insanity. This madness grew from the moment his hand took the knife. And it will keep growing inside of him. Blurring his vision. Destroying his mind.

He made himself this way—unwillingly, unknowingly. But he chose to pick up that knife. It was his choice to take the little girl’s life. Insanity hasn’t begun her reign over him when he committed that crime. He knew exactly what he was doing. And yet, he didn’t want to.

Now he sits in front of that dirty window, at his desk. He watches the world pass him by, his disease growing with every day, every hour, every minute! Still, he believes himself perfectly healthy—that it’s only guilt eating him from the inside.

Meanwhile, everyone’s on edge ever since the murder. Parents don’t let children out by themselves anymore. If the situation of the child going outside is unavoidable, parents clutch them to their sides. Their eyes widen, wildly darting around the entire street. They’re looking for the killer; they are desperate to find him. But they don’t know they pass him by every day. They don’t know it’s him, sitting in front of that window—watching their every move.

Through his eyes, though, the people see him. They know he’s done the evil deed. They point at him through the foggy window—whisper, accuse. And it makes him nervous, but he never budges from his spot. He sits there, at his desk. Watching; watching the people on the streets.

And that’s the only thing he will ever see out of that dirty window. He’ll stay in that room, his own prisoner, while his madness carries him away from reality.

I don't think that comma is necessary, I think the tense change was a typo, and I think the semicolon should be a comma. :P

Karma will seek him out—evil deeds never go unpunished.

Karma sounds kind of… simplified, I guess to me. Iz one of the random nit pickety things that kinda bug me. 8D I can't really think of any alternatives for that word… The rest I like, though. :D

Blurring his vision. Destroying his mind.

Maybe something like "Blurring his sight of life", since just "Blurring his vision" can sound more physicalish. So long as his mind doesn't blow up over me, though, 'sall fine. 8D

Hm. I like his insanity and the last two paragraphs. 8D

Yeah. Not much CC… >.>

Ah ok, I'll fix that comma.

Ah ok, I'll fix that comma. Oops >.< I didn't notice that I did that... alrighty, I shall fix that too :3

Hmmm... well I didn't really know what else to put besides karma, so I just went with that. Lol ok.

Lol his mind won't explode, don't worry xD I put "blurring his vision" because he spends all of his days watching people pass his window. But really, the reader later understands that his "vision" is not really his sight, but how his mind sees the world.

Lmao thanks xDD

Oh, no this CC is great! :D I was looking for as much CC as possible :) thanks so much L.S.! :D
