The Super Bowl this year was between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots. Both teams have come really far and that is why they are here today.They both met back in week 17 when it took place in the Meadowlands in New York when the Giants nearly ruined the Patriots perfect 18-0 season.Anything can happen in... the SUPER BOWL!!! Ahhhhhhhhh, BOOM! Super Bowl XLI had begun as Stephen Gostowski kicked it off.The Giants would start near there own 20 yard line. The first play of the drive was a run to Ahmad Bradshaw. He was stopped cold. The Giants went on to score a Field Goal on a drive that lasted almost 10 minutes.The score was 3-0,Giants. On the ensuing kickoff, it was returned by Laurence Maroney for 43 yards.Good return! Here is Tom Brady getting ready to try to lead the Patriots to there 4th Super Bowl in 7 years. The Patriots started driving down the field and scoring on a 1 yard Laurence Maroney touchdown run. The extra point was good. The score was 7-3, Patriots. Well I got nothing else to say. There was no scoring until the 2nd half so the score halftime was New England 7 and New York 3. Darn, Patriots! They have only managed to get 7 points so far. The good thing was that they still had the lead going into the 4th quarter because the Giant only had 3 points.The score at the end of the 3rd quarter was still New England 7 and New York 3. WHAT A GOOD 4TH QUARTER IT WAS!!! Here we go, the start of the 4th quarter. The Giants just got down the field and scored a touchdown. It is 10-7, Giants.It is all up to the Patriots to win.Right now they are getting consecutive first down passes to Wes Welker. Oh! Randy Moss catches a touchdown pass. It is 13-10. The extra point was good to make it 14-10,Patriots. The Giants got the ball at there own 21. They were driving down the field when... oh, Eli Manning is about to get sacked, he escapes the defenders and passes it and....IT IS COMPLETE AT THE PATRIOTS 20 YARD LINE. UNBELIEVABLE! Now that were all comed down let's watch the Giants score, A PASS TO PLAXICO BURRESS........TOUCHDOWN! The Patriots couldn't score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GIANTS WIN!!!
