Transformation Chapter One-Edited Once
I woke up with a burning sensation on the back of my hand. "That's weird" I thought. It’s a perfect letter 'T'. I did not know who I was, or where I came from, or what time of the day it was. I looked out the window of the abandoned apartment I was in. There was furry white stuff outside. Then I realized it must be snow. I got to see what I was wearing. My shirt had the same perfect letter 'T'.
I looked down at the floor and there was a sword and a mace. On the sword it said, "Mona Tismound". It sounded familiar. Suddenly, I remembered it was my name!
I felt the urge to trace the perfect letter 'T' on my shirt (which BTW was also on my shorts). So I did. I wanted a bag to carry all my weapons. I got a feeling I was going to need them. Suddenly, a small portion of my shirt ripped and changed into a bag.
Before I could think about it, a girl who looked about my age with gold hair (different from my fluffy brown hair) appeared before me. She was jumping up and down. She asked, "Is your name Mona Tismound? Yes, I guess it is. I noticed the girl had the same letter 'T' on her clothes too. She said, "Congratulations, you are now one of us!"
“One of what?” I asked.
“Come on”, she said, “We have to get back to the others.”
“One of what?” I asked a little louder.”
“Once we get to the taxi,” she said.
“What taxi?!” I asked, “We’re in the middle of an abandoned apartment.”
“Watch and learn”, she said as she traced the ‘T’ on her shirt and muttering taxis under her breath. .Suddenly, a small part of her shirt flew off and turned into a taxi cab with a driver in the middle of the apartment. I was about to yell, One of what? when she said, “transformers.”
"Transformers?", I asked. "Like the toys?"
"No," she said, sounding offended.
"Then, what are they?" , I asked.
"They are people like you and me that can transform certain things that have the symbol."
"What is the symbol?", I asked.
"The capital letter T," she answered.
"Like the bag I transformed. How do I transform it back?" I asked.
"Trace the T on the bag and concentrate on reversing the process," she replied.
When I finished, the bag was gone and my shirt was whole again!! I was amazed and suddenly the taxi screeched to a stop. As I left the taxi, all of a sudden, my stomach jumped at the realization that I did not know who I was, where I was, and who I was with and I was looking up at a huge tree house at least 100 feet in the air. At first, I thought there were people flying around it; then I saw that they were on zip lines.
“Wow ", I said in awe.
She turned to me and said, "Oh bty my name is Zoey, but you can call me Z.” She gave me a tour. I saw a dinning hall and a gym and much more. My favorite was the sword play area. All through the tour she was complaining about food.
“RRRINNNGG”, I turned to Z to ask if that was the dinner bell, but she was gone. I was alone.
“AHHHHH!” I screamed and suddenly I was on my back. I was rolling around trying not to get trampled. Once everyone was finally gone I followed their direction. When I finally got to the dining hall I was amazed. On the left side was buffet. It had the most amazing, mouth watering hamburgers, ribs, meatballs, pizza, macaroni and cheese, cake, and cupcakes, I could go on forever. I found Z next to the chocolate fountain. I could see her face was covered in chocolate. It seemed like she had been there a while.
“Well, I am sorta sorry that I abandoned you, and you look like you were run over.” Z said to me between bites of chocolate covered fruits.
At least she apologized, I thought.
Then she said "You have to try some chocolate" as she popped an entire chocolate strawberry into my mouth. I was still upset at her for abandoning me, but I have to admit the food was delicious.
A man stood up and transformed his shirt into a microphone and said, “Lets welcome our 1000th camper Mona Tismount".
I blushed.
All of sudden, we heard a loud Ba-Boom and a man was standing in a blown out hole in the wall. He was tall, skinny dressed in all black holding what looked like a plastic ray gun. His face was blotchy with dirt and he had thick bushy mustache. He said, “Give us Mona Tismount and no one gets hurt."
“MONA TISMOUNT,” he boomed. He held up my picture.
It was me when I was six. I could tell because it had my fluffy brown hair, my piercing green eyes and my huge overbite. Plus the fact that I am in sixth grade and I am so small I can pass for a fourth grader. (But no one here is normal sized; they are either way too tall or way too small.)
I thought "uh-oh".
He spotted me. Luckily Z picked that moment to start a food fight; she looked like she had some practice. She pulled me by my arm and we ran down the hall. At the end of the hall, there was a locked door. No way out. Then she got out her sword and she used her sword to make the letter “T” ten times on the middle of the door. The door opened, we ran in and it swung shut. We were in a closet.
"Look" Z said, "we don't have much time. That guy who is trying to capture you killed the best transformer of the century. Transformers and the Wickets have been enemies since our founding. He escaped from jail." "But", Zoe continued; "on a happy note, one hundred years ago there was a famous seer, Jakapits, who stated that the one thousandth camper, which is you, would be a hero."
Suddenly there was a loud knock that shook the door. Then a raspy voice said "we know you are in there..."

This is really cool! It's exciting and fun and thrilling; but to get it to flow better, you could try reading it aloud to make some adjustments. Other than that, I'd love to read more! :)
