Do I Really Have To Do This?

Biography

For those of you who clicked my account because you've never seen me online before, let me assure you that I am no newbie. I have actually been here for three to four years . . . But I haven't been on in like a year. For whatever reason, I felt the urge to come check KP and see what was new, and an overwhelming sense of nostalgia came over me. So I guess I'm back, at least for the moment. (However, I make no promises). 

Well, here are some facts about me . . . 

1) I collect two things: quotes and notebooks. 

2) I love to write. 

3) I love to paint. 

4) Part of the reason I left KP last time is because I entered a writing contest and put my best foot forward. A girl I don't particularly like did the same. Said girl seems to win everything--and I mean EVERYTHING--and she's a bit of an overachiever, imo. (Not saying that's a bad thing, but it does get irritating that nobody else seems to have a chance). Anyways, she ended up beating me and everyone else, and I lost quite a bit of confidence in my writing. I actually went on a writing freeze for a few months. That's when I stopped coming back to KP. 

Yes, I now realize how stupid and immature that was, because essentially I was pouting. But even though I snapped out of it, I never really returned to KP. 

5) While I might not strike you as a down-in-the-dirt kind of girl, I spend my free time volunteering at an equestrian center. One day, I hope to have my own horse. 

6) I am probably the only eighth grader at my school who does not have a Facebook. Thank you, Mom and Dad. 

7) I WOULD list some of my old stories/poems, but I think I'd like to just start a clean slate. Besides, my writing style has evolved quite a bit. 

8) My room is actually clean and has been for more than a week. You have no idea how big an accomplishment that is. 

9) I loooooooove musicals. To an obsessive point, actually. Favorites being Rent, Les Miz, Wicked, Hairspray, West Side Story, Billy Elliot, Aida, Spring Awakening, Sweeney Todd, and of course A Very Potter Musical and A Very Potter Sequel. 

10) I am a Gleek. Enough said. 

11) Favorite books: Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Kane Chronicles, Heroes of Olympus, Gone Series, The Book Thief, Les Miserables, Princess Academy, Graceling and Fire, the Mysterious Benedict Society, Each Little Bird that Sings, the Inkheart Series, Hunger Games, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Sisters Grimm. 

12) Favorite Musical Artists: My Chemical Romance, Taylor Swift, Adele, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Jovi, Journey, Avril Lavigne, Carrie Underwood, Coldplay, Daughtry, Five for Fighting, Lifehouse, Kate Voegele. I could go on forever. 

13) Stories I may or may not put on KP: The Necromancer's Daughter, Moonstone, Medusa, School and Other Inhumane Prisons.
