Hey!
Biography

Hi! Most of you know me as Max, but my real name is Cayla. I'm a 16 year old writer with dreams of being a well published author in young adult fiction. I also would also like a chance to play international soccer or work for Walt Disney Imagineering or Pixar. In my free time, I like to in anyway be creative, play sports or hang out with my friends. You can often catch me at the local mall, park, a high school football game, or sometimes the bowling alley. My friends are from every group you could imagine and I love every single one of them. I also play soccer for a travel club in my area as a striker and offensive midfielder. I have also played for my school both in middle school and high school. On my high school squad, I play as a starting center striker and have 7 goals on record for the season. So when I'm not writing, I'm scoring goals or catching up with my friends. To the more important things: I have been creatively writing since the forth grade. I joined Kidpub in fifth...so I've been here I think pushing about 5 years. My very first story posted was Dragon Fire and at the time I was proud of it...I have come leaps and bounds since then and hope to one day revise it and make it better. My favorite authors have to be James Patterson, Laurie Halse Anderson, and Maggie Stiefvator. I also hope to one day be like them. But who doesn't? :P I've won a few newspaper awards, a DARE essay award, and have competed for national recognition in another essay contest. I don't brag or boast about any of them....I consider writing something everyone can do and everyone has an imagination...its all about how much you practice and use them. My ability to write, create, and dream to some is considered a gift...to me, its just a well mastered skill everyone possesses...because EVERYTHING takes practice...and NOTHING is perfect. That's enough about me...anyway...I've got things to write! Keep your pens moving! (or your key's clicking...lol) ~ Cayla!
