Hearts Will Bleed Tonight ~~ Poem about the shooting today -- please read!!!!!

tonight,

20 beds will be empty

the stuffed animals lying,

forgotten,

on the floor

waiting,

for an owner

who will never come back

tonight,

20 presents will sit in closets.

hidden carefully under boxes,

gathering dust

never to be

opened

tonight,

20 lives will be no more

gone

just like that.

never to fall in love

never to grow up

never to have children of their own

tonight,

20 hearts will beat no more

40 hearts will be restless with sorrow

and all the hearts in America

will bleed

with

sadness.

Okay, here's my theory: Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga are actually Capitol citizens who couldn't stand The Hunger Games, so they invented a time machine and traveled back to our time and became pop stars. O.O

That was my jaw dropping. This is so sad! I don't know anything about the shooting, being in India, but I know that shooting must stop. And you say they were kids? That's horrible. This poem was beautiful, and faved. :')

Thanks :) This guy ran into an elementary school and just started shooting kindergartners... :( Some teachers were killed too. It especially affects me since my little brother is in kindergarten... it's hard to think about the fact that it could have been him.

This was so raw, it just grasps the soul, and hits you deep down. The shooting was so sad, it seems unfathomable how much pain the parents are going through. Thanks for the raw amazingness of this poem. This will be faved. Beatiful poem.
