The Kerrettes: Chapter 4

What did it feel like going through the portal? Well, have you ever jumped into a pool? It felt a little like that except it was like I jumped in and then the water disappeared all of a sudden, and I fall out into a platform.
Fgas and Liek pulled me across the platform into a town. As I examined the town, I saw that blue was a theme. Blue buildings, lights, and signs. They pulled me into a building that looked like a king’s palace. Inside, there was one room. Only one! It was a hall with a royalty-looking person.
“Helow,” he greeted.
“He’s 10 now and we’ve got him!” Fgas said.
“wel, thank yoo for breengeeng him,” answered the royalty.
Gosh, he’s hard to understand!
“His uncle knows,” Liek said, “About us, I mean,”
“wel, thats u shaym,” said the royalty drily, “Breeng Joesephe too thu liveeg kworters in the southeest part uv Loomrus.
Then he said, “gödbai and göd food”
The living quarter was pleasanter than I had thought. It had a bedroom, kitchen, two-person dining room, and a study room. I thought the royalty meant a prison-like household.
They dropped me of and left while saying in unison,
“Goodby and good food!”
