"I'll give you one million dollars each if you stay in this haunted house for the night!"
He was a madman, but one million dollars was quite a lot.
"Should we do it, Jessica?" Toby asked, a short, fat fifteen-year-old. "I mean, I've seen lots of horror movies, so I know what to expect."
Mary, a tall girl with short blonde hair, about seventeen, said, "Aren't you the one who cries whenever someone dies?"
Everyone else laughed, while Toby looked nervous. Jessica, an average height with long black hair, added, "And don't you cover your eyes whenever one drop of blood comes on the screen?"
Everyone else started laughing harder, and then Jason, a sixteen-year-old with brown hair said, "Not to mention that whenever someone swears, you cover your ears for the rest of the movie."
At this point, the whole group was in tears from laughing, and Toby looked embarrassed half to death. Then came the final blow. A short, skinny fourteen-year-old, James, said "And don't you talk to the characters, and tell them not to do stuff, and ask ridiculous questions and have conversations that the other character has nothing to do with? Honestly, I vote for going inside, and if there's a killer, Toby's going first. Everyone understand?"
Still choking down their tears of laughter, everyone nodded "Yes," except for Toby. He stood there, wondering what to do next.
Jason asked, "Sorry Toby. You got outvoted." He turned to the madman. "We'll take it."
