Using the characters my mind thought up

in the universe, somewhere
“You didn’t have to do that, Sie.”
“I did.”
“No!”
“I want the best for you. I want the best for my country.”
“I’m sorry. I wasn't there with you.”
“You’ve always been there for me.”
“I’m sorry.”
“There's no need to be sorry.”
“You shouldn't have done that.”
“I did it for a good cause.”
“I-I should have been the one.”
“No, live a good long life. I’ll meet you there.”
“Sie, y-you have been a sister to me. Sie?”
And now she was dead. Dead and gone.
Shaedra watched the coffin until it floated out of sight. It was never a fitting end, Shaedra had always thought. But it seemed completely wrong to let her friend go this way.
“Find your home among the stars
“May you find earth below your paws
“May you live forever in the world beyond
“May you see a new dawn”
She sobbed, pressing her cheek against the cold glass. She was sitting by the huge window on one side of the ship. The room was large, and painted a dark gray. The floor was metal, as were the walls. Red lights were in a strip around the room, lighting it with a gloomy light. A large window was one on one side, the door to a well-lit corridor on the other. The window sill was lit with a red light as well, and large enough to sit on comfortably. The room’s corners and edges were rounded, as were the edges of the window.
Shaedra stared into space, too mournful even to cry. Sie had been her friend, her sister, even. And now she was gone. A thousand times in the next few minutes Shaedra wished Sie had never decided to destroy the reactor, that she had done it instead, that the whole accursed mission had never happened.
But you can't change the past.
“I'm sorry.”
Liana entered the room. Shaedra didn’t look up.
“It’s Leah. She wants you.”
A/n im leaving off right here. there's a lot more, but iv'e decided not to fifnish it because it gets really awkward to write later on

Pretty good!
Don't worry. It's okay. You're alive, I'm alive, and life is good. And remember, have a good day!
