A Book Review by Lavinia M.
in California

Harper Lee

Based in the 1930's, six year old Scout and tweleve year old Jim, start to wonder about their spook neighbor Boo. Meanwhile, Mr. Finch is on a court case involing a black man and white woman.

During this story of excitement you will fall in love with the Scout, Dill, and Jim. This book has capture the minds of many generations. This book is great for ages 12+.

I hope you enjoy.

Dill from Oak Elves is named after this book.

OK, I like your review, but

OK, I like your review, but I'd like to see more. What did you like and dislike about the book? I've read this book, and I know it made me cry. The court case is more then just a case between a black man and a white woman, the book is about racism and prejudice and privelage. I just feel like you could have written more, because there is SO MUCH to write about this book.

You have a good start, but to review a book you have to tell more then just the basic plot of the book. You have to tell your readers more then what they'd find on the back of the book, or looking up the summary on Goodreads.

Just my opinion. Do whatever you want.
