A Book Review by Marie Lynn
in the little place that exists over the rainbow

It's about a little girl named Mary, who lives on a farm. Back then Indians would raid houses and take captives, but Mary's family doesn't think there's any danger of it where they live.
Well, one night the Indians come into their house and take the whole family captive. Then they took the children only back to their tribe, and tried to raise them as Indians.
Mary hated them, and tried to run away. But after a while she came to like the Indians, and when an Englishman comes and tries to set her free, Mary isn't sure if she really wants to leave them.
It's based on a true story. I thought it was a pretty good book.
