Rating: 8 out of 10
Series: I don't know
Would I Recommend It? Yes
It's about three races: the humans, who live above ground and about the same way as we do now, just with a slightly medieval sort of attitude, the Miliciy, and the Huciy. The Miliciy and Huciy live underground, in Hades' realm, and it doesn't take long for the Miliciy to realize that there's a problem that they have to fix. If they don't fix it, there will be consequences. Bad consequences. In order to solve this problem, the Miliciy and Huciy must overthrow the human leader, Jinner, and are simultaneously planning to do this to the Miliciy leader, Huggun. But Jinner has a spy among the girls selected to train to overthrow him. Will the underground races find out in time to succeed? Or will they fall alongside the humans?
Originality: The plot is very original. I love it.
Characters: Very fleshed out and plausible. Nothing to fix.
Description: Good, but some areas could use a bit more.
Suspense: Really good. I was hooked.
Action: Not too much yet, but I doubt it will stay that way.
Punctuation: A few missing comas or quotation marks. Nothing major.
To Work On:
-Description. Don't stress on this too much, though, because there were very few areas I saw that weren't described very well.
-Punctuation. Reread and pay close attention while doing so. These mistakes should be easy to notice.
-Explain why the Miliciy want to overthrow Huggun. I remember reading about you saying that they wanted a "fresh start," but why do they want that? Did Huggun do something they didn't like?
I really liked this book. It had practically everything a quality book should have and very few errors, all of which are pretty easy to fix. Keep writing, Lydia!
