A Book Review by Abbey
in lost in the world of YA
Rating: 10 out of 10
Series: Not sure
Would I Recommend It? Yes
It's about four teenagers -Ilsa, Finn, Sophie, and Jack- that are from the Otherworld. But they couldn't live there for as long as they need to, so other Otherworldlies get each of them adopted by a different family and all families sign a contract saying the four will be returned to Wershire Manor in eleven years. Each chapter is narrated by a different character as they find out the truth about who they really are and where they truly belong.
Originality: Pretty original. Great twists on an overused plot.
Characters: Very realistic and in-depth.
Description: Extremely good. There was an ever-constant picture in my head while I read.
Suspense: A little in the first two or three chapters, but not much after that.
Action: Only the four and some other Otherworldlies go back to the Otherworld, and I don't really consider that action.
Spelling: A few throughout the book (the main being Otherworldlys instead of Otherworldlies)
To Work On:
-Fix spelling errors
-Put in some action in upcoming chapters to ensure it doesn't get boring
I love this book! It's got very in-depth characters and amazing description. Keep writing, Clara!
