Hey. It's ok. I'm positive you did not kill your mom. Whatever else happened, so maybe you goofed up, that's okay. Everyone messes up with that sort of thing, I've confided in people before who have then told me I should never do that again because it's bad for their mental health. All of the times that has happened, I've been able to work it out and become closer with them afterwards. Maybe whatever happened with you is way worse, I don't know. But everyone makes mistakes and that is ok. It's going to turn out just fine, promise. You do not damage everyone you talk to. I really really love texting you, and it always makes me probably 10x happier every time, ok? Whatever happened is probably not your fault. But even if it is, that's ok. It's ok to mess up and maybe be not a great person all the time, everyone does that. That doesn't mean that you're an awful person. It means you're a real, genuine person who's figuring things out and might mess up here and there but you are not in any way an awful person. You did not cause your mom's death. I just recently went through a suicide scare from one of my friends and let me tell you, it was awful. She's ok now, but it was awful. You know this more that I do- when someone you love dies, it's absolutely terrible. So many people love you so much and care about you, and if you die they will go through this. Not to say that other people's feelings matter more than your own, because they don't, but please think about that. You're not an awful person and I care about you a whole bunch and i do not want you to die. Please stay safe, stormy

your mom's death is not your fault. it's not your fault you self-harm. it's not your fault you want to die. it's not your fault you tried to die. you are not evil. no one is evil, stormy. nobody deserves to die. not you. not anyone. you haven't killed anyone. we know you didn't kill anyone. you haven't hurt us. you will be okay. this is a sad chapter, but it's not a sad story. don't blame yourself. it's not your fault if you blame yourself. it's okay. keep breathing.

I'm sorry for adding maybe even more stress and sadness on this page? but I really want to die and I'm just so full of sadness and I don't know what to do so if anyone has advice please help?
and I feel I just can't be the "cheer up blah blah blah!" person anymore because now I know how other people feel and it feels terrible and I don't want to go to sleep every night hoping I die.

I struggle a lot with this myself. I know it seems pointless a damn lot of the time and I still don't have the answers on how to fix it.

When you're depressed, it can be hard to motivate yourself to do even the basic shit, but honestly it feels so much better when you do? It won't fix all of your problems but it helps.
  • Have you eaten in the past 6 hours? If you haven't, please eat something. Even if you don't want to, which I typically don't when I'm feeling depressed
  • Are you hydrated? Always try to keep drinking water throughout the day. This has alleviated several headaches for me.
  • Are you getting the right amount of sleep? This can be very hard, especially if you go to school for 7-8 hours a day, but PLEASE try to make sure you're getting sleep. Also, don't sleep when you're down/bored. I do this a lot, but I know from experience that it only makes you feel worse. Give yourself something you want to be awake for.
  • Have you been doing basic hygiene things as much as you should? Brushing your teeth, putting on your deodorant, taking showers, getting dressed even when you don't have to go anywhere? I personally don't even like taking showers, but I feel better once I have (once my hair is dry lol)
  • I know one's desire can be to isolate themself when depressed, but don't. Don't stay holed up in your bedroom if you can help it. At the very least, give yourself something to focus on. Something external. When you're depressed, don't just let the thoughts keep going around and around in your head.
  • Try not to stress about school, and especially don't stress about the future. Focus on the present, but don't catastrophize.

Hey I may not be the nicest person but I don't want anyone to feel like they want to die. I've been there. It's not fun.

Btw we're skipping past the battle and into a period of more lighthearted stuff, and Mora is very welcome if you feel up to joining in again. I hope you feel better. :)
