I am only eleven and I try to take the stress of my parents. I try to break up fights, do extra work, etc.
My parents say, "Be a kid," but I can't!!!!!!!

Last year, I think I grew about 3 years older thanks to my parents divorce. I hate to see people fight and so I try to compromise and reason with anyone who dares to do so.

A lot of people older than me complain "ugh, I don't want to grow up" or "i hate acting like an adult" or "you're lucky you're still a kid" but in reality, I just think "Suck it up. I already grew up. You act like it's bad and, heck yeah, it is. So deal with it.

I hear you complaining about how you don't want to go through what I already went through;you're anxious about future things that are now a part of my past. And that doesn't just make me feel bad when you tell me to act more childish. It makes it hard for me to actually make friends; I still prefer being around people 5+ years older than me than people my age.

Maybe I am 'smart' but have you ever considered that I was mentally older outside of school? I see the way you think of me and how you treat me, but you don't know the extent to which I recognize it. My age is a lie; it really is just a number for me.

My hope and optimism isn't an oblivious, innocent view of adulthood. It's an indirect way of saying that I've done that already. I've grown up already. I have the mentality of an adult and if you think not, then you will be surprised when I do something you can't. So grow up. Because if I can age 3 years over one summer, you can surely do it in five."

So I can totally relate to that situation and I get the feeling you are going to be considered mature for your age from now on.

slightly on that topic i think this one sorta douchey guy did something moderately nice for me mainly bc a) he didn't care and b) davy had just mentioned that i could get people fired/arrested if i wanted to ahaha

and so also omg i found a teacher's tests and answer sheets. when i showed her she was just like "stop hacking into my shit!" semijokingly
but i also got into the root of the school network
and
um
so there was an announcement at the end of the day
telling all teachers to log off the computers and get off the internet so they could restart it
i've never heard an announcement like that before
(also i was on a different student's account oops hopefully i won't feel bad for that)

idk why i'm even posting this on the evt, it's not a vent, just something kinda… idk interesting i guess haha
