I'm sorry if this offends anybody, but I hate it when I'm still referenced as a newbie when I've been here for about 2ish years. Apparently, I'm not a part of the "Golden Generation." It really annoys me when people are like, "Oh well KidPub used to be a great place and now it's not. " Not true people! Just because your friends and the books you read aren't on now, doesn't mean you should give up and blame it on others.

And another thing. (I just seem to be in the ranting mood) I feel like I'm.. I don't know, annoying I guess you could say it. Whenever I come on the AN, all conversation stops and people don't reply to me unless I directly address them. Then it's an awkward situation. I also feel really awkward on NES' because everyone is a way better writer than me. -_-

Psshhhhhhhh... you lie. I mean, your writing is like a big bucket of amazing epicness and mine is like.. grr so bad I can't even compare it. I can't even muster enough self-confidence or inspiration to even write the first chapter of a novel I used to be really excited about.

know this is not what this was started for, but I just thought this was a good thread for this.
I know everyone is saying Kidpub is really dead and there aren't many good stories on here, but it's mostly new and young authors. You guys on here are the older, experienced, better writers. How can the stories be better if none of you good writers are on there, commenting on the stories, giving CC, and posting really good stories, so that they can see really good stories, to see how to write we'll? They can't get better if none of us help them.
And I know, I'm certainly not doing what I should be doing and I'm certainly not a great writer. But I could be giving CC.
But you are the experienced, older, better writers. You don't like that the stories aren't as good. But no one is helping the young writers. You say you miss the old Kidpub when there were tons of great stories on each day. But most of you guys are just on here.
There are ways to change this. This is not a comment problem post. This is post about a different problem.
You guys are good writers! You could help the younger writers. You don't have to do much. Even getting on the main site once a week just giving CC. You can also write stories so they can see how to write well. But at least giving a little CC would be great! You are the best on here to give CC!
I'm not trying to be mean, by saying you're just on the forums, or anything else. I'm just reading all sorts of things about the golden days, about how the stories used to be better, etc. All I'm saying is, that we can't do anything just talking about it here on the forums. You have to help the writers.
