how do i get a professional diagnosis for borderline personality disorder when i can't even get my parents to admit i'm not a burden

You know like when you have a phobia and you wonder if you're blowing it out of proportion or it's just you being tired or smth else?

I have an INSANELY specific fear. I didn't even know it had a name until now. And it's SO CONTEXTUAL. And it's not that bad so I wonder if I have a real fear or not, or if I am actually afraid.

Do you ever rediscover an album and just start to cry because it brings back memories from the stage in your life when you first found it? Cause I just did that and now I'm a blubbering mess.
