My doctor said in a perfect world I'd be 110 lbs, so i'm trying to lose. How many 13 year old try weight loss?

Well I am about 120 and am 14.

I think I am doing okay.

But I am losing apparently. I haven't been eating as much and don't get that much of an appetite. Not consciously, it's just been like that lately. I have downsized on the food consummation. *shrugs*

>_< I hate it when that happens to me. Luckily, I have my teachers' emails, and they aren't too upset if I email them ahead of time. But that's just my school...

I'm not sure if this will help you right at this moment, but, it's all that I can think to give you right now, since it's always helped me tremendously:
Questions Young People Ask: Vol. 1
Questions Young People Ask: Vol. 2
You can download both books as a PDF. I know they have a lot of Bible-based advice in them, which I'm not quite sure how you feel about, but they DO have a lot of solutions and advice that will work for anyone, no matter what they believe or don't believe. The books deal with all sorts of topics and issues--depression, dealing with family members, making friends, how to respect yourself more and be less self-hating, pretty much any kind of school issue you could think of, and MUCH much more. I don't expect you to read them if you don't want to, of course. But I do think browsing through the tables of contents would be worth it, just to see if anything piques your interest. <:^)

I can't not be afraid, not unless I completely stop caring about almost everything.

Just read the table of contents and skimmed some of the first volume, and yeah, it's not really helpful. But I'm not really looking for a solution anymore, anyway. Not really sure if there is one

Fear isn't always a horrid thing. You still care. You're not giving into numbness, even when that seems like that's the best idea. You can still hold on to that. One day you'll get out of this. Someone is going to come along and pull you off the floor, and it's all going to be okay. You're not alone, even though it feels like that's all you are sometimes.

You know, Gerard says that he's going to try to write back to each letter that he receives. Even though that's going to take a very long time, try writing to him and explaining what MCR meant to you, and hold on until he replies. Sorry, that's the best advice I have.

I scored first place in my grade for the Math Olympiads.

To be honest, I'm not that surprised.

I also feel rather kick-butt at the moment.

And combined with the fact that my friend Taylor is challening Nathan (evil annoying popular arrogant sucker) to a sing-off on Wednesday, I am actually quite smug at the moment.

Depression

Since the school year is almost over and I'm in fourth grade, next year I'll be going to the middle school. I have never been excited for this but people are making it worse. They keep saying how they are so excited to "blow this Popsicle stand." Next week we're going on a field trip to the middle school and I'm kind of scared I'm going to break down or something.
It has been really hard lately to contain my emotions so this really helped. Thank you so much. :)

You're skipping a grade? Good for you. My sister's in fourth, and she's a child genius.

Yeah, I freaked out over middle school too- and I was homeschooled before. The school is fun, but the people often suck. ^_^ I actually am writing a book based off of my middle school experience about a middle/high school where kids are trained to be warriors with swords and shtuff. XD
