i looked up some of my piano pieces from a few years ago before i quit and rejoined and omg too many feels ;~; why was i always so reluctant to practice and why did my mom have to bribe me with random little toys and stuff to make me sit down and play for just five minutes and why did i not even consider the possibility that just five years later i'd play at state convention and honors recital two years in a row and actually love do theory work and practice at 2am and do accompaniment a lot and want to continue it after high school and college and throughout my whole life and why did i even drop out for like a year and why is this hitting me so hard

it's just one stupid piece omg i remember how it was the only piece i remotely liked and how i got it perfectly within a week when i was like eight or something becuase it was the first piece i was okay with and my (old sucky terrible had-no-freaking-idea-how-to-teach) teacher told me not to play it ever again bc it was all i ever wanted to practice (that's understandable), but my (really chill and actually-knows-what-the-hell-she's-doing and is practically my friend) new teacher really likes this one for some reason which i can understand bc i really like it too and i am going to play this again someday soon maybe even today

Life is pretty good, I've been having a pretty fcking decent week, went to a concert Thursday ^0^ School's pretty decent, taking Driver's Ed, French 2, Culinary 1 and WOrld History two. Love the majority of teachers and not the majority of the other studfents.
