But somehow, my invisibility stops at that moment. :/ I wish I had Maple's stealth.

Have you had dreams when you tried to be invisible, but someone saw you at a crucial moment?

I do. I always shout at them 'you can't see me, I'm invisible'.

LaurenM 06-23-2012 05:13 AM

I don't think so.
I've had dreams of flying, though. My whole family jumped out of the window.

Mainly posting cuz I want to know if it's not just me but....
Does anyone else have out-of-body experiences? No, I'm not kidding. Like, for me, it happens when I'm looking over a ledge or something to the place below. And I'll be thinking about what it would be like to jump down. And then superninjainvisibledreamspirit-me will jump down, and I'll see everything like it actually happened. Except for, right before I touch the ground, superninjavisibledreamspirit-me disappears and regular me is left feeling all woozyful. Does that happen to anyone else? Perhaps it's just a result of my hyper-active imagination. But this scares me a lot, because I am one of the most cautious people I know, and I'm kinda worried. Sooo..... anyone? It's really quite creepy for me and I'd REALLLY like to know if anyone else does anything similar--like, it doesn't even have to be around a ledge, it just happens that way for me. And no, I am NOT kidding. Thanks for asking. :P

Usually, when people experience an out-of-body experience, they see their dormant self. I think you were imagining. Sounds like depression.

LaurenM 06-23-2012 08:29 PM

I haven't before, except when I'm dreaming.

I'm taking a break from KidPub for personal reasons. Don't know when I'll be back. :P

Yah, well, I can get pretty depressed but I don't think that's it. And like I said, I do have a very vivid imagination (I'm a writer, so duh it's kind of a given). But I don't think that depression has much to do with it. Thanks for the ideas though... :D
