but seriously, being a swimmer means having tons of muscle which probably makes up more than u think of ur body weight!! also that really isnt fat, its really not. it would give u a bmi of roughly 20.5 and that is right in the perfect spot for someone of ur age!!

Okay, but seriously, as long as you eat healthy and get a moderate amount of exercise, your body is how it should be and it looks fine! i'm like, what 5'3" and i easily weigh over 145 pounds now. my thighs are huge and can never fit in like any pants, i have little chubby bits all over my stomach, and now i'm starting to get a bit of flab under my chin (which is why i'm okay with being shorter because then nobody has to look at that).

i don't eat the healthiest foods, no, but i am more flexible than my sisters, both of which are "healthy" weights and pretty skinny with little arms and legs. i also dance my heart out and i'm able to keep going for longer than other people can, even if we're just hiking. i still do yoga sometimes because if just standing can burn some calories, then heck, standing on ur toes while moving your arms around and straigthening your back should definitely burn something.

overall, meera, you are perfect and I know it's gross to have wiggly fat and i know people are taught to look down on that, but as long as you're not sick in the hospital every day because you can't move or take care of yourself or feel anything, then you're pretty okay. if you still feel bad, then remember to just eat when your hungry (it helps snacking habits and you don't feel like you're stuffing your face everyday). and maybe force yourself to do like 5 minutes of walking every now and then if you want exercise. walk around your room, do some cleaning up where you have to go back and forth a lot, go up and down some stairs if you feel like you need to. at least then you're getting some exercise instead of feeling like the fat will never go away.

we still love you and i think you're beautiful, so please don't hurt yourself too much trying to appease society (just do what makes you feel better, okay?). also if i didn't live so damn far away and u didn't already have a cute platonic cuddle buddy..........u OH GOSH uh, i'll tell u later >///-\\\< I'M SO SHY EVEN TO PPL I TALK TO A LOT

nope nope nope nope pushups are not going to help your body image

the more you overexcerdize the worse your body image is going to get and the more you are going to think you are fat so yeah you literally cannot help your body image with pushups. The only way you can help your body image is counseling and/or body-image-supportive tumblr stuff

oh my gosh. thanks so much. i seriously needed this now, and my dad said he can get us a treadmill because scorching ca weather is preventing me from going outside without instantly breaking into a sweat (even though mom lied saying we couldn't afford one, but i know she just wants me to get fatter than her) and tbh i can't tell my mom anything or she'll say my problems are invalid and i should never talk to her again so i will avoid her like the plague today or something. and i'm still aggressively doing pushups and running around the house and my whole back is sore because did i mention that i have only been dropped off at school three times this whole year and my backpack weighs a million pounds and i have to bike and i really don't care at all because i need to get strong for marching and track and everything and i can't do well and have flab hanging off of me and ok i'll just shut up and attempt to work out now

wish me luck on the SATs tomorrow because google hasn't been any help. it refuses to tell me where i can stab myself and lose blood the fastest. lol, i'll be over this tormorrow and also i'm going to the doctor on the 19th so ugh i have to talk to a stranger about my mental health ALSO IN FRONT OF MY MOM AND SHE'S PROBABLY GONNA BE MAD

do not stab yourself. instead look through your books and notes one last time and prepare yourself as well as you can, because blood loss won't improve your score at all. instead it'll negatively impact it, and you don't want that, do you? just treat this test as a goal to get past so you won't have a reason to stab yourself.
if it's stress, you can do the SAT as many times as you want and honestly you're super smart so you'll do better than i did last year...
