That is not an easy line to cross. They're two points of view that don't match in my brain. One is logical, the other beyond ridiculous. There was obviously no danger of fat-shaming, so - oh god, it was your interpretation. You, like everyone else, perceive things differently. EPIPHANY! Other people draw the metaphorical line at different things and it is offensive to think they are wrong just because you were also right.

I'm not. I'm just saying that if you're so obese that it's unhealthy, you should really go on a diet. Doesn't affect my opinion of them, not that I know them enough to have an opinion of them.

It's not, actually. This matter was about their physical health more than their psychological health and not at all about how we should treat them. If you look fat and not too severely overweight, it's completely fine.

Not coming? Yeah, I figured that. I figured that you wouldn't come because you just shut everyone out no matter if they're trying to help you or what. It seems like you just stopped caring about us. I used to rush to the computer to email you about my day every single afternoon. You were always so nice and if something didn't go my way that day you would tell me it's okay and not to listen to them. You helped me. I don't think you realize that. You helped me through if I had a bad day by making me laugh or smile. On some levels I wanted you to come on saturday just so I could see the look on your face when you realize we grew up. I'm not the cute little 2nd grader anymore. I'm going to middle school in two weeks.
It used to feel like you just shut my parents out because we just didn't understand. Now that we're older and we understand better, you shut all of us out. I just want you to know, that you are missing out, big time.
