No, I'm not calling you about my future plans because I'm freakin' worried. I'm calling you because you and Mom are divorced. I didn't call up to cry over the phone about how our relationship will obviously change; I'm not as dumb and I think you expect me to be. I'm calling because you have to act on your end; I'm not a little kid talking to her daddy, I'm a young woman talking to her full grown father. So, please, take me a little more seriously. I honestly wish people would do that, but it's like my age is stopping them. WHICH SUCKS BECAUSE MY MENTALITY IS SEVERAL YEARS AHEAD OF MY AGE. PEOPLE DON'T EVEN KNOW IT UNTIL I TELL THEM.
So just...gosh, don't force me to grow up when I already have. And check into the freakin' train schedule while you're at it. I am the only person who always forgets the train schedule.

P.S. I didn't mention the legal stuff to either of you because I figured you would be all "oh it's not your problem, it shouldn't affect you, and it shouldn't worry you" when in fact it FREAKIN' DOES. Divorce freakin' affects the kids in VARIOUS WAYS. Why the heck is that such a hard concept for people to grasp.
