'Tis all right. Not your fault.
Now I am going to ramble about completely random things. Excuse my randomness.

You know, I absolutely hate it when people type "alright" instead of "all right". In my opinion (even though no one has asked for it) alright is not a word. Have you ever seen it in a book? I didn't think so. Is it in a dictionary? I have not checked, but I doubt it. The phrase is "all right". One extra letter and a space. Is it honestly so difficult to take the two seconds and type that much? No! It is not! Though some persist in writing the phrase incorrectly! It irritates me to no end.

Are you turning into DE or something?
Anyway, to contradict your random ranting:
Alright is indeed a word, I've seen it spelled everywhere, including books. It's recognized as an adverb. All right is the more formal version, but since people do say Alright, and writers try to capture what people say, "Alright" does show up in some books.

However, acronyms (e.i LOL, OMG) really drive me up the wall.

Yes...all forms of text talk are obnoxious. All it is is a lazy form of writing.

Especially from little kids... like 9 year olds.

No kidding, some are even stupid enough to write like that on tests...in school.

I was nine a few hours ago... I take that as an insult.
