Less in the winter, quite a lot in the summer. And winter is just ending.

Time really passed that fast? The last time I looked up, it was still light.
What's the name of the song in your sig? ^_^

My little brother...ugh. I love him, but he is just so annoying. My mother is asleep, and then my brother takes a plastic gun of his and starts firing it. It's EXTREMELY loud, and I tell him to stop and shut it, and to find something else to do. It's quiet for a few moments, then he fires it AGAIN. I tell him to shut up and that the gun will wake my mother up, and that she wouldn't be happy. He fires again. I say, "SHUT UP!!!" He finally stops, then goes and plays one of his pieces on the piano, which is right NEXT to my parent's bedroom. I tell him to stop. Then I finish reading a short story on here and get up to see what he's doing. I find him swinging a pillow by it's ends and making the corners really wrinkly, something my mother absolutely HATES. I tell him to stop, and I explain that I'm really annoyed by his actions. >.< He's playing a board game with my little sister right now, but...

And my mother yells at me for yelling at my brother. She says I'm too harsh on him. But I'm not being harsh. He isn't listening the first time, or the second time, and I feel obliged to yell at him. I don't see what is wrong in that. My mother does it to my brother, too!!! But SHE can't get "in trouble," and instead I do. I tried to explain that I yelled at him because he didn't listen the first several times, but she said she didn't care and that it didn't matter. :(

Congratulations, mum. You managed to make one fairly optimistic person pessimistic. Chinese is not the only thing in life, you know. Do you want a trophy?

LaurenM 02-27-2013 10:55 AM

How can someone be so awesome at one moment and awful at the next. I hate how every day ends up with an argument about Chinese. I know, Mum. I'm an ostrich.
But seriously, I'm not stupid. You're the dummkopf most of the time.

It's funny how you have picked up the word dummkopf...

Anyway, Chinese is not the be-all-and-end-all. Ignore your mother. Though do try to get good results, because they are just ego-boosting.

Yay!
I always seem to use this for happy things. I suppose it's because I don't like telling you ALL my problems and well, I suck at giving advice. BUT ANYWAYS
YES! YES! YES YES YES YES
Guess what? Well, I'm assuming most of you have read the Tempest by W. Shakespeare? Well, for the Sheila Winn Shakespeare festival, I got the part of Ariel! Ariel is actally a boy but used to be portrayed by girls, and since we don't have many guys, I get to be Ariel! It's the part I wanted and I am so happy! I might post a picture of me in my costume:D

It's my ego that's making me pugnacious...
