Oh well. Now that proves my point that I'm annoying and I cease to exist.

*slaps you*

Snap out of it, Chels! We all love you here!!! :D *hugs* I wish I was invisible, cause I could go on all these super-awesome adventures. 8D You are NOT annoying, and if you didn't exist you wouldn't have been able to post that.

WE LURVE YOU, CHELSEA!

Who said you were annoying? :(

Annoying? All right, when I considered that you weren't my friend, I did say that you were annoying. Do you want to know why? It was when we were debating. Your views irritated me. I was acting idiotic.

Don't say your invisible. I put you back on my "friends list" (such a petty term) over two weeks ago.

Chels: No. You are epyk. You are awesome. You are totally visible. You are not annoying. You are totally insane (in a good way, like me). So snap out of it! *replaces sad Chels with the happy, crazy one*

Revenge of the phantom Chels, coming up next on BBC, this thursday.

Besides, being invisible is being awesome. You can be all totally, like, invisible, and then, when people are least expecting it...

You mean the one you told me to look during video chat?
I'm also invisible. No one noticed my post about the discriminating classmate twice, in the Modern Racism thread, and here.

Being invisible is epyk. Though irritating because people won't notice you. :3

XD I will make a video on invisibilty with mah friend and post it on YouTube and you guys can watch it. XD

LaurenM 06-23-2012 04:17 AM

Invisibility is no fun. No one listens to you when you rant.

rebecca 06-23-2012 04:28 AM

But with invisibility you can throw things at people without them noticing...until it hits them.

LaurenM 06-23-2012 04:48 AM

But somehow, my invisibility stops at that moment. :/ I wish I had Maple's stealth.

rebecca 06-23-2012 05:06 AM

Have you had dreams when you tried to be invisible, but someone saw you at a crucial moment?

I do. I always shout at them 'you can't see me, I'm invisible'.

LaurenM 06-23-2012 05:13 AM

I don't think so.
I've had dreams of flying, though. My whole family jumped out of the window.

HeatherB 06-23-2012 07:29 PM

Mainly posting cuz I want to know if it's not just me but....
Does anyone else have out-of-body experiences? No, I'm not kidding. Like, for me, it happens when I'm looking over a ledge or something to the place below. And I'll be thinking about what it would be like to jump down. And then superninjainvisibledreamspirit-me will jump down, and I'll see everything like it actually happened. Except for, right before I touch the ground, superninjavisibledreamspirit-me disappears and regular me is left feeling all woozyful. Does that happen to anyone else? Perhaps it's just a result of my hyper-active imagination. But this scares me a lot, because I am one of the most cautious people I know, and I'm kinda worried. Sooo..... anyone? It's really quite creepy for me and I'd REALLLY like to know if anyone else does anything similar--like, it doesn't even have to be around a ledge, it just happens that way for me. And no, I am NOT kidding. Thanks for asking. :P

Usually, when people experience an out-of-body experience, they see their dormant self. I think you were imagining. Sounds like depression.

LaurenM 06-23-2012 08:29 PM

I haven't before, except when I'm dreaming.

06-23-2012 09:01 PM

I'm taking a break from KidPub for personal reasons. Don't know when I'll be back. :P

Yah, well, I can get pretty depressed but I don't think that's it. And like I said, I do have a very vivid imagination (I'm a writer, so duh it's kind of a given). But I don't think that depression has much to do with it. Thanks for the ideas though... :D

My friend had cancer and lost her hair. I hate people who are that superficial.

I just found her Twitter account. W. T. F. I'm disturbed. If she's not a troll… god.

My childminder, who is around 50-something, got cancer, and she had to wear a wig after chemotherapy because her hair fell out, which was really inconvenient for her. She's one of the nicest people I've ever met, and I think that it's stupid that society judges people by their appearance, especially since they didn't choose to be that way.

She had a hallucination in which she jumped off a cliff. It's not very vague, is it?

Bro, my friend and I get that all the time. I know someone who can see a person, and then if they focus, can see whatever they're looking at from where they are. I know a girl who can see herself die whenever she looks in the mirror. I see myself working out like a boss to a good song whenever I hear aforementioned good song, and if I close my eyes and I'm listening to a good enough percussive beat, I can see my ancestors and hear their footsteps.
Everyone has quirks like this; the point is that we know as well as she does that it's not really real, thus why she called it an out-of-body experience and refers to it as something other than herself. She knows it is not her, but it still makes her feel things. It is not a hallucination; it is an out of body experience.
Even if it was a hallucination, hallucinations are not symptoms of depression, but depressed people can hallucinate as well; hallucinations can either mean something like psychosis or schizophrenia/schizotypy if paired with behavioural problems, or your hallucinations could be totally normal and you can easily live your life with them.
Depression is solely feeling bad all the time and being unable to pull yourself out of a vat of misery and apathy. Hallucinations not included.

Just sayin'...
No offense or anything; I've researched this a lot and developed depression when I started puberty and the only way I stay out of reach of it is with good diet and vigorous exercise so I have no excess energy.

All right then. I have never experienced depression, so I apparently wouldn't know.
