You know when someone makes you really uncomfortable and you can't explain why?
Yeah. I hate that.

L.S.Trendom 05-12-2013 11:03 PM

Sometimes how dark i've gotten, how much worse i've gotten, stops being kinda funny and I just want it to be over. i'm so tired and so afraid

T.Longmire 05-12-2013 11:15 PM

Why can't I just be skinny?? DXDXDXDXDX I hate that I compare myself to other people, I hate that I feel so fat all the time I hate that I eat too much and weigh too much. I hate my appearance and I try to act full of myself to hide it. Guys will never like me because of it.

I'm too self-conscious.

These aren't extreme feelings, i don't cut or think about suicide. *sigh of relief*

KP's "comment famine" still seems to be going strong, unfortunately. <:^/ So it's not just you or something you did that explains why not many people are commenting, if that makes you feel any better. Don't worry too much about it, though--as soon as summer break starts for everyone, people will have MUCH more free time, and more will to read and comment. ^_^

Don't feel bad about feeling the way you're feeling. (...*re-reads what I just typed* I hope that made sense. XD) ALL of us here on KP go through those mixed feelings when we don't get many comments. <:^J It'll get better. Don't worry.

And, while we're on the topic, Arin, I haven't spoken to you in a while, so I actually don't know what stories you're working on right now. O_O May I please have a link to whatever your main project is, now? :D

The books deal with all sorts of topics and issues--depression, dealing with family members, making friends, how to respect yourself more and be less self-hating, pretty much any kind of school issue you could think of, and MUCH much more. I don't expect you to read them if you don't want to, of course. But I do think browsing through the tables of contents would be worth it, just to see if anything piques your interest. <:^)

Define too much. Too much to whom? Society? Your friends? People who pick on you? Guys that you don't know yet? As long as you're not overweight to the point that it seriously affects your health, Tess...you shouldn't be worrying about it. Some people's metabolism is just lower than others. It's not just how much you eat--it's also your genes. And there's no point worrying about something that you can't change, like genes. <:^J

But, like you said, at least this issue isn't life-threatening or anything. Just...try not to be so hard on yourself. <:^) Alright? You're beautiful. Don't worry about it.

I'm sorry, Owen. :( You don't deserve any of those insults. And NONE of them are true. Don't you ever get it into your head that they might be true. <:^/

I know what you mean. As long as my hair isn't all tangled and my clothes are perfectly clean, I don't really care how I look anymore. XD I just have my moments of self-consciousness (that can sometimes get kind of intense...>_>) sometimes. But, other than that, I'm the same as you. :P

I did aww over it too XD

Me. And I put on make-up now. Not because I think it will help, but I just enjoy it. That is the little bit of girl in me. I put my hair in a french braid each night so I don't have to worry about it in the morning because it gets all wavy *taps head* Smart I am.

XD Japanese macaques are both adorable AND amazing little monkeys.

Makeup, you say? Well, I'm gald you use it because you like to, and not because you feel you have to or you're just trying to impress people. ^_^ I'm really more tomboyish. My limit is chapstick. XD Also I just barely learned how to braid hair. But I like braids because they keep my hair out of my face when I'm doing yardwork or chores, so I don't mind wearing my hair in a braid every now and then. :P And yes, you ARE smart. :D

I hate my skin, too. Thank gosh for the invention of coverup. *which I don't consider makeup* o_____e And makeup can actually make acne worse, you know... o_0 Anything oil-based will just make your skin worse. You need to look for stuff that's non-comodegenic. *hopes I spelled that right*

Well I am about 120 and am 14.

I think I am doing okay.

But I am losing apparently. I haven't been eating as much and don't get that much of an appetite. Not consciously, it's just been like that lately. I have downsized on the food consummation. *shrugs*

I can't not be afraid, not unless I completely stop caring about almost everything.

Just read the table of contents and skimmed some of the first volume, and yeah, it's not really helpful. But I'm not really looking for a solution anymore, anyway. Not really sure if there is one

Fear isn't always a horrid thing. You still care. You're not giving into numbness, even when that seems like that's the best idea. You can still hold on to that. One day you'll get out of this. Someone is going to come along and pull you off the floor, and it's all going to be okay. You're not alone, even though it feels like that's all you are sometimes.

You know, Gerard says that he's going to try to write back to each letter that he receives. Even though that's going to take a very long time, try writing to him and explaining what MCR meant to you, and hold on until he replies. Sorry, that's the best advice I have.

AlgebraAddict 05-13-2013 09:45 PM

I scored first place in my grade for the Math Olympiads.

To be honest, I'm not that surprised.

I also feel rather kick-butt at the moment.

And combined with the fact that my friend Taylor is challening Nathan (evil annoying popular arrogant sucker) to a sing-off on Wednesday, I am actually quite smug at the moment.

Depression

Since the school year is almost over and I'm in fourth grade, next year I'll be going to the middle school. I have never been excited for this but people are making it worse. They keep saying how they are so excited to "blow this Popsicle stand." Next week we're going on a field trip to the middle school and I'm kind of scared I'm going to break down or something.
It has been really hard lately to contain my emotions so this really helped. Thank you so much. :)

You're skipping a grade? Good for you. My sister's in fourth, and she's a child genius.

Yeah, I freaked out over middle school too- and I was homeschooled before. The school is fun, but the people often suck. ^_^ I actually am writing a book based off of my middle school experience about a middle/high school where kids are trained to be warriors with swords and shtuff. XD
