She homeschools me, my younger sister, and my brother all at the same time while nursing the baby and reading to the toddler. :p I have no idea either...

Awesome!

AlgebraAddict 07-17-2011 06:08 PM

How do you change your sig? When I click edit, the pencil doesn't appear next to it.

L.S.Trendom 07-17-2011 06:12 PM

Click User CP by the top of the page, then find Edit Signature and click it. You can type in your new sig in that box. Or click this link if you're lazy: http://www.kidpub.com/forum3/profile...=editsignature

I personally don't think the thread is a good idea, as people may be offended. :P

AlgebraAddict 07-17-2011 06:16 PM

AWesoem!!! SEE YA SOON with a new siggie!

EmmaR 07-17-2011 07:18 PM

OH MY GOSH! That is so cute! I will comment, I have a Youtube account. How old are you? Is this recent?

AlgebraAddict 07-17-2011 10:01 PM

Yeah it's pretty recent. I look really babiesh though. I always do in pictures. I'm 11.

shadowtide 07-17-2011 10:28 PM

I see a bunch of old-fashioned americans with waay too many kids travelling in a van. Not my idea of the smartest people in the world.

AlgebraAddict 07-18-2011 01:57 PM

It's a joke with the Adam family song. And seriously, my family has a twelve-passenger van. Plus, that's not all of the kids. Some of their kids weren't even in the video. I like it. :)

GabiDi 07-18-2011 07:16 PM

XD That's kinda funny...

GabiDi 07-18-2011 07:19 PM

Okay, so what... exactly is the deal with this thread?

AlgebraAddict 07-18-2011 09:11 PM

Post whatever you want, even if it might insult someone. Just let out your guts. :P

L.S.Trendom 07-18-2011 09:14 PM

I'm getting kind of sick of tacos…

AlgebraAddict 07-18-2011 09:23 PM

I don't like tacos, never did. I love breakfast burritoes though.

GabiDi 07-18-2011 10:25 PM

*GASP* :p

AlgebraAddict 07-18-2011 11:30 PM

Dang... you found out. My deepest secret... why'd i post it onKP then?

wildwolf 07-19-2011 09:34 AM

Bible quote time!:
1 Peter 3:1
Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives.

AlgebraAddict 07-19-2011 09:46 AM

So? .

very misleading, if you read more of that chapter you will find
that it says this:

7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.

1 Peter 3:7

AlgebraAddict 07-19-2011 09:52 AM

Good point.

shadowtide 07-19-2011 10:33 PM

Yep, as some people say, "The man is the head of the family, but the woman is the heart of the family". The Bible doesn't claim that they're unequal in worth, just that they have different roles.

"As unto the weaker vessel" sounds pretty sexist to me. That they have different roles? Since when did they have different roles in modern society? You're telling the job of the woman is to be the heart, not the head? That's pretty sexist as well.

GabiDi 07-19-2011 11:12 PM

The weaker vessel?

Oh, save me from the well-meaning Christians.

Men are generally a little stronger then women, "As unto the weaker vessel" means that husbands should protect there wives (I think)

sigfig 07-19-2011 11:15 PM

Oh that's not sexist at allll.

Why is it sexist if I say that but not if Ruza does?

When has Ruza said this? Ruza reveals sexism in America, you condone it.

L.S.Trendom 07-19-2011 11:19 PM

Ruza said that men can overpower women, I believe.
