Yeah, don't let them, Owen. You're an awesome person. I've learned to let the insults hit my wall, not get passed it. I just don't take what they say to heart, unless I trust them. :D

Ugh. Just ugh. I can't... I just can't.

Venting about the venting thread? LOL, okay...

I feel so guilty for not responding to very many posts on here anymore.

:(

One of these days, I'll be back to my norm...and I won't nearly have a heart attack every time I see someone's posted something on here. x_x

Oh my God, that's horrible. They are disgusting people. You are awesome, and you shouldn't have to take this. We will seriously hunt them down for you.

Listen, Ash.

You are amazing. You are an amazing person. You're everything a friend could be.

But you say that it's not true at all.

I'm trying to say it to you and I feel like crap.

*sigh*

You are so amazing and everyone agrees. You are amazing.

But I just want to love something about you.

TheAshWolf 03-16-2013 07:17 AM

Look, I know a lot of you guys on here are hurting. I'm hurting, too. I'm not perfect. And I don't know most of you as well as I'd like to. But if there's anything I can ever say/type that might help any one of you out, I will.

(*moment of thought*)

Ramble warning....here I go... XD XD DX DX :^I

As writers, we tend to be a lot more aware of things than most other people are, and yet so much more blind at the same time. We can see that the world is horribly messed up, and we can see our own flaws all too clearly, and can't help but see how amazing other people seem and wish that we were like them. But we're blind to our own strengths and virtues, and blind to the flaws of our heroes and idols. Most people see those flaws abruptly, almost painfully, when they get let down by their hero or just anyone who they look up to. This can make anyone--especially kids and teens--feel like everything they saw in that person was a lie. I know...I've felt that way too many times. But the thing is, you have to understand that EVERYONE has flaws, and just because they trip up every now and then--some more than others--that doesn't mean the positive things you see in them are fake. (Granted, sometimes, they ARE fake. But you can't go through life assuming that everyone that is good at something is a liar and a faker. That's too negative.)

I guess what I'm trying to say is...we all need to just stop, sometimes, and TRYto look at ourselves and those around us honestly and without bias. Also, we are our own worst critic. ^_^

...End of ramble. :^|

Don't feel like crap. D: Feel like ice cream. Or bacon. Or potatoes. Anything but crap. (My pathetic attempt at humor... ewe) Point is, you don't have to feel like that. And I don't like seeing you so upset. :( Neither does Kendra or L.j. or Sandy or Tredom or anyone else on here.

I wish I could go on a long rant with you. But that was too dang perfect. I completely agree. And we all get that way. Even our 'idols' or 'heroes' do... they look at others and feel an almost painful, jealous twang. And yes, we DEFINITELY are our worst critic. Agreed, that sometimes I look in the mirror and feel insecure. But lots do, even the good do. The heroes can often fall. And we become heroes when we pick ourselves back up.

Nevah mind.

I rambled. ._.

No, no, don't say never mind! O_O That was perfect!!! I love that point you made: "The heroes can often fall. And we become heroes when we pick ourselves back up."

(On a semi-offtopic note, you should put that line in HOOG! :D)
