Actually, Richard Cory was a (I think) fictional person from the song by Simon & Garfunkel. Lyrics toward the end of the song, from memory: "So my mind was filled with wonder when the evenin' headlines read, 'Richard Cory went home last night and put a bullet through his head.'" After that, it goes back to repeating itself. It's still a good song. :p
