"Being different doesn't mean you're discriminated" agreed. Like, in the present day, (natural) redheads are "different" and being left-handed is also "different" in that its rarer, but aren't discriminated against. Just because people still make "gingers have no souls" and "gingers/left-handed people are the devil" jokes doesn't mean its discrimination, because it will never cause them harm.

True, asexuals don't face institutionalized discrimination and aren't marginalized. But that doesn't mean asexuals don't face discrimination.
