It means something like 'to grow old'. :P *Google Translate FTW* Lauren, who speaks Mandarin/Chinese, added it. *Fist pump*

Lauren speaks mainly Cantonese.

LaurenM 06-09-2012 08:42 AM

Yup. I'm kind of bad in Mandarin :P
白头到老 (simplified Chinese version)means to stay together even when your hair is white, something people usually say in weddings :P

Isawara...Do you pronounce it as EYE-SUH-WAH-RAH or EE-SAH-WAH-RAH.

L.S.Trendom 06-09-2012 08:45 AM

I can recognise white >:^D

I dunno. >_> I was pronouncing it 'is-uh-wah-rah'. *Facepalm*

LaurenM 06-09-2012 08:46 AM

Are you self learning Chinese? I can help you :DDDD Though I'm not exactly good...

When I made it I was thinking 'Eye-sah-wah-rah'

When people get married in China, they get given 168 units of money, because it sounds like Chinese for 'success all the way' or something like that, so I'm giving LST 84 fezzes, and Kiwara 84 thestrals.

L.S.Trendom 06-09-2012 08:54 AM

No, Japanese. :P I doubt I'd be able to learn Mandarin. At least, speak it. I border on tone-deaf, I think. xD Don't the meanings of what you say depend on the pitch of your voice?

LaurenM 06-09-2012 09:14 AM

Yes...that's why Mandarin is annoying. It has four tones, but Cantonese has nine. But I"m used to it.
