Everybody else—everyone whose opinion means a thing, anyway—wants you to live because you are both awesome.
And it'll get better, Owen. The idiots/assholes you have to be around at school will eventually be stuck with deadend jobs, for the most part, while you can do something awesome and worthwhile away form them.

i know it'll get better, but right now it just seems to be getting worse
