I used to do that constantly as a kid. Every night. It sucked. ;-; But then I figured out some methods to cure it:
~ Don't stress. Tell yourself you'll figure out your sh*t tomorrow, and actually DO it. Don't get all "OMG I GOTTA DO ALL THIS STUFF OMG OMG OMG".
~ Turn on lights if you have to.
~ Talk to whatever's scaring you. Be all, "Hey, bro. Don't scare me. It wouldn't be nice if you scared me. That'd be mean. How 'bout we just talk it out, bro?" Trust me, it helps.
~ Imagine having a huge, invisible yet brilliantly white animal to protect you. Like a lion, or a wolf. My little invisible protector is Toothless. Whenever I get scared, it helps to imagine Toothless bein' all "OH NO YOU DIDN'T" to the monsters and fighting them off.
