Default I Need Some Advice. My decision could change my life. Advice?

Okay, so I am a little unsure. Here's the thing:
The other night, I had my first EVER horse ride. And it truly was amazing. And I REALLY want to get back on a horse again. A LOT.

BUT:

I have heard Horseback Riding Lessons are really expensive. Like anywhere between $30 to $60 dollars per hour on average. And I really want to ask my parents if I could might take Horse riding lessons . . . but they are just so expensive. And I don't want my parents to be torn about letting me take them, but watching our budget. I don't want them to pay so much for it. BUT, I really want to take horse riding lessons.

So, whether I do this or not COULD change my life. If I fall in love with Horseback-riding, which is a real possibility. But I don't want to put the financial pressure on my parents.

Advice??

I may $25 dollars per lesson you just have to find the right person, and it doesn't have to be a porfessional stable with white fences and fancy show horses, just find a nice simple place with a few horses where you can go and maybe even do stable work to pay off lessons. Check out craigslist with your parents and either put in an add looking for a place to ride or search around for stable adds.

Oh, I know how you feel I did this last summer but if you look around a bit, you can find somewhere that's cheaper. Just keep looking!!

Finding cheaper horse-back riding places is a cinch if you know where to look. Try typing in 'cheap horse-back riding lessons' on the internet. I'm pretty sure there's somewhere around where you live that offers lessons in your budget range.

I have exactly the same prob...

You could always google free horseback riding. There's a place in my town that has free horseback riding, except you have to write thank-you notes to benefactors of the ranch and you have to shovel horse dung or pull weeds to pay for it, but it is free. There might be something like that near you.

You could try to earn money, of course too.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. Look around, do some reasearch for horseback riding places around where you live. Read reviews, and ask your parents to check out different places with you. There's a horse-back riding place near where I live that let's you volunteer for FREE riding time. See if the places near you do that or reduced fees for volunteers. GOOD LUCK! I love riding.

Okay, thank you so much!!

I've tried researching a bit, but It just comes up with the same places, with only the name and phone number. I'm looking for more info, like lesson descriptions and exact prices. Haha, hopefully I'll find them!

Thanks again!

If you can't find it online, you could try calling. Or if you have the opportunity to go to a horse show, you may be able to ask competitors about their stables.
