Book Recommendations and More!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to read. Don't you? If so, you've come to the perfect place. What I've decided to do here is, say I'm looking for a good book to read. I would post the genre(s) I would like that book to be and things like that. Now say YOU saw my post and knew of a good book in that genre choice. You could tell me by replying a short review on it!

This way, lots of people can read book that they may love when finished. I dunno if there is a thread like this but...

Yes! What kind of historical fiction are you interested in? Like any time period or location you wouldn't want to read about, or is any historical fiction fine?

I especially like stuff during World World War 2. But the truth is, almost anything is fine.

there's a series about a Jewish violinist that you could try. It has a bit of mature content though-- how old are you?

you might be. I can't remember how old I was when I read it, so I have nothing to base it on xP. Maybe wait 'til you're older. There's some sexual stuff and some violence and alcohol.

For future reference, the first book is called Vienna Prelude.

I highly recommend Bodie Thoene (author of the above) for historical fiction.

I just read a book called "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry" written by Mildred D. Taylor.
It is about a colored family and their fight for rights in the USA.
Based in about the time of the Great Depression just before World War II.
I really enjoyed it.

Oh, I started reading that book too! But I stopped because it got a little boring. But I'm starting it again.
