It's like poetry but in a prose format. Like, The House On Mango Street.

Fantasy is my favourite, both to read and write. I like writing poetry, and I would read it more, but most people just write free-verse, and I've never really liked that. Books that have romance and fantasy are good (The Mortal Instruments, Divergent, ect.), and I don't mind writing romance, but I prefer to emphasize on the fantasy worlds more (which is why I didn't like Twilight that much... too much kissing, not enough vampire things. The Vampire Diaries is good, though– they put a lot of lore and world-building into that). I also enjoy reading historical fiction, but I can't write it.

Oh, yeah, I like re-write fairy tales and dystopian, too. I'm kinda tempted to write a post-apocalyptic novel... Or just play Fallout.

What he said plus realistic fiction when I'm in the mood. (which is not quite often, I might add.)

Poetry, realistic fiction, magic realism, fantasy, dystopian, mood novels, and fairy-tale twists.

Fantasy, mystery, action, adventure, a little realistic fiction, actually pretty much anything except horror and really descriptive romance that goes into it too much. But yeah, I pretty much read anything.

I love fantasy and adventure, and I'm terrible at sci-fi and non-fiction,.
