Post How did you find KidPub?

Recently I was having a discussion with Esther (AlgebraAddict) about how we found out about KP. We both were originally looking for contests, but found this instead. How did you find this great place?

My mum's friend searched for 'kids writing' and found KidPub and asked me to join. I wasn't too keen at first because that meant sharing my writing with other people and I didn't let any people other than myself read my writing. Eventually, with lots of persuation, I joined. Within two days I abandoned Facebook games and went on Kidpub whenever possible. Now I'm begging my friend to join kidpub and she's considering about it, but that's only because she thinks WB seems awesome...

My friend told me about it, and I signed up right away about 3 years ago or something.

I searched 'writing websites for kids' on the web, and it came up with this site that had a whole bunch of recommendations and links. A few down from the top was KidPub, so I clicked on it and convinced my parents to let me join! KidPub has been loads of fun!
