Default Favorite Authors!

There might be something similar to this somewhere else and there's probably a better place to start this thread in the book reviews forum. The title kind of speak for itself. A list of your current favorite author. The author has to have written more than one book, because then that favorite author ceases to be a favorite author, but a favorite book (e.g. two amazing books are All Unquiet Things by Anna Jarzab and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. However, these are the only novels of these two authors.) Here are a few of mine (though I have yet to dive into classics), along with my favorite novel(s) of theirs in no particular order:

JRR Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings)
Markus Zusak (I am the Messenger)
David Almond (Kit's Wilderness)
Neil Gaiman (American Gods)
JK Rowling (Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire)
Derek Landy (The Faceless Ones)
Ursula K. LeQuin (A Wizard of Earth-sea)
Mark Twain (The Adventures of Tom Sawyer)
Philip Pullman (The Golden Compass)
Richard Adams (Watership Down)
Ray Bradbury (The Martian Chronicles)
Suzanne Collins (Catching Fire)
Patrick Ness (The Knife of Never Letting Go)
MT Anderson (Feed)
Libba Bray (Going Bovine)
Christopher Moore (Bite Me)

I agree with many of yours. I also love Harper Lee, Garth Nix and Terry Pratchett.
