Default Boxing

I want to box, but my parents are against it completely. They believe that I will get hurt, and suffer brain damage, broken teeth, concussions, etc. However, I know for a fact that we would be wearing mouthguards, which would absorb at least some of the shock.
I want to take up boxing because I want to defend myself, get in shape, and release my anger at the end of the day. My mom is COMPLETELY against it, though.

If your parents say no, you can't really do much about it, but you could make a homemade punching bag and gloves and just beat it up. There's not much they can do about that.

Boxing is pretty cool. Maybe give your parents your best reasons why you want to. If worse comes to worse, you could always do what AA said.

They say I'm too small, and will end up like Muhammad Ali, with Parkinson's disease. They won't even give me a freaking chance...

If you wear the right protecting gear, than chances are you won't get badly injured. Keep trying to persaude them.

I know some boxing too. It's fun, as long as you remember to put tape on your knuckles/wear gloves. If you don't, your knuckles get REALLY, REALLY bruised and sore.

I know some boxing and yeah, it sounds cool but you can get pretty injured in the boxing ring. I use to take karate to release my anger. Sady, I learned its more calm and relaxing.

I used to take taekwondo, and I was a complete pansy. I focused more on developing my forms and my sword techniques. Now, however, I want to get knocked around, be angry, and feel bloodlust.

Lol, I'm only like 4"11 and weigh 85 pounds, I'm so small, I'd get knocked out with one punch.
