so, keep trying to persuade them, and in the meantime, do what I suggestd.

I don't have any money to follow my dreams. ;-)

Keep your eyes peeled for quarters on the ground.
Look under the couch.
Wait until Christmas or your birthday.

Its because you want to box for all the wrong reasons, if those are your real reasons.

It was meant as a joke. You purposely did not include the part when I made fun of my size. I want to box as a sort of outlet, if that makes any sense. Sort of like a haven, you know?

I think you should continue to try to persuade your parents without being annoying :P They're only concerned about your safety, but it's frustrating that they won't give you a chance. Maybe you can write them a note or list about why you would like to box and what you would do to stay safe (proper protection, etc.) when boxing. I think it sounds like fun, but I'm almost 15 and I'm like 95 lbs and I'm not strong but I sure am quick. But you can't just run around when you're boxing xD I'm thinking about taking up rugby but we don't have any girl's leagues and I don't feel like being pummelled by guys :P

Have you considered hunting? It would be bad if you want to feel bloodlust, but hunting is a very good pasttime. I want to hunt coyotes next year. I don't know. Not a good substitue for boxing but it would be good to learn self-defense by boxing

NO. I despise hunting, killing animals for fun. Absolutely not.

Alright, I was just throwing it out there ^_^ Some people love it, some hate it (And you're one of the latter). That's okay.
