Default Help!

*cries* Huh? Oh yes, you're here now. *stops crying and clears throat* Here it goes.

My best friend, Joshiah (I'm not sure I spelled it right) has been my friend since 2nd grade. Yes, he's a boy, but I don't care. He hit hit is head on the wall in our gym. The wall is pretty hard. He has a big lump on his head, and I'm not sure if he'll be okay. He seems fine but, well, I'm afraid for him. He keeps a lot of secrets from me. Another person, Martha, hit her head on the wall because she tripped over him. Martha is one of my worst enimes. (Did I spell that right?) But Martha has suddenly become my friend.

Martha's in worse shape then Joshiah. At music I wanted to see of she was alright, and, of course, her friends hate me and tried to make me leave.

Me: Martha? Are you okay?

Martha's friend: Go away! You're nothing but stupid. You said you hate her, didn't you Martha?

Martha: (shakes head no)

Martha's friend: Yes you did!

Martha: (shakes head no again)

Martha's friend: (sighs) Martha, are you Lily's friend?

Martha: (shakes head yes)

So that's all. And someone please tell me Martha will be okay! I mean, she's my friend and I-I don't want anything bad to happen to her.

What are you afraid of? If they're conscious, not sleepy, pretty darn coherant, and don't seem to have any mental issues because of hitting their head then they'll more or less be fine. The brain can take some stress, obviously if they crack their skull and or break the skin then that could possibly be an issue. Or dizziness, if they aren't dizzy then that's a sign they'll probably be fine. I wouldn't worry.

Lily, calm down. It would take either an insane concusion or extremely abnormally weak skulls to do so much damage to their minds that you need to be worried. You said that girl was in music, right? So she's still in school. If there was something really wrong, she'd probably be hospitallized, or at least at home. And you said she's worse off than your other friend, right? So he's probably okay. My brother got an egg sized bumb once, and I freaked out, but he ended up okay. You probably shouldn't worry unless they don't know who you are anymore or something. They'd probably tell you if something was wrong,

Well... Martha seemed pretty bad and kept losing her balance. And she was gone for half of the day. She was in music, and then went to the nurse's office and left with her stuff.

Again, what DE said, she'd be hospitalized if something was really wrong. She could have been dizzy, which means that she just needs to sit down for awhile while the brain tries to save itself.

I know but... She was gone. For half of the day. She could be anywhere right now, in a hospital, at home watching T.V.... I just-I just am so worried.

I can understand your fear, but it's probably unnecessary. Weren't you mad at her? Or she you? The only time I would really be concerned is if she fell from a height, and not just to the floor or into the wall. If she lost consciousness, then I would be concerned and she would be hospitalized. Just see if she's at school tomorrow.

Well... She was running fast and slipped and hit her head on the wall. It was loud. And she's my friend... And she was groaning in pain for a while and I think she lost consciousness. My other best friend, Viri, (That's someone's nickname) was standing over Martha and Martha looked as if she was hardly breathing... It was just so scary!

Martha'll be alright! My brother broke his collarbone and he's fine now. Don't worry, it's only a slight concussion.

Huh...I wouldn't be worried. The body works in mysterious ways. It has a defense mechanism, which is unconsciousness. The brain can handle just about any situation. She'll be fine...
