Lord Of The Rings!!
Even though I've never read the books, I absolutely ADORE the movie, so here's the 'Movie Club' for it on KP!

AWESOME!!!!!
I watched the first two movies, but I don't think I'll watch the last movie until I'm like eighteen. They catapult heads over walls... ew. And the giant spider. And the guy that sets himself on fire. Yuck.
I read all the books, but I think they kind of corrupted some of the characters. Like in the book Faramir (Borimir's brother) said that he would never under any condition take the ring, not if he found it on the side of the highway. In the movie he was a little more evil.
My favorite scene in the first two movies is when gollum is fighting with himself.

Aw, lucky! I wish I could read the books! I'm reading the Hobbit because my brother says the LOTR books are too 'age inappropriate'. I've just been trying to snag one and read it.
And don't worry about the third movie! I watched it when I was six. No joke! (and I had night terrors (like nightmares but x5) and my parents STILL let me watch it.) I just watched it about two weeks ago, and I'm twelve! You can watch it!

Unfair! And guess what? My mom said the same thing about the movies! The books are actually not very horrific, surprisingly.
But, how bad is it? Blood and guts in words doesn't make me puke like blood and guts in movies. Try to vividly describe the disgusting parts I mentioned.
It is a little comforting, because the first movie had like no blood, and it was pg13. And the last one is the same rating, so it can't be THAT bad.

Wait till eighteen to watch "return of the king?"
Good lord. Half the kids in my school are watching the Hangover. They're fourteen...

I know, I have this huge phobia of blood-and-guts.

Ok, it's just interesting how much you underestimate the extent to which you will change in the coming years.
Forget interesting, it's rather funny.

Oh, god, I was exaggerating!
But, yes, if I was serious, it would be hillarious.

Yeah, it's not REALLY that bad.
The head catapults thing -- pretty gross. You might want to look away at that part if it really disgusts you, but it's only for a few seconds.
The giant spider -- not bad at all.
The man on fire -- That's when Denethor tries to burn Boromir because he thinks Boromir is dead, but then Denethor catches on fire when Pippin and Gandalf save Boromir.
The war -- except for the heads, it's not really that bad.

1. Exactly what is it after and before? I want to know when to look away.
2. Okay, I figured it wouldn't be that bad.
3. Lol, you mean Faramir. Borimir died in the first movie. But what does it look like? Is he like turning black?
