I'm labelled as 'smart', 'weird' (I prefer eccentric, thank you very much) and I don't know.

I label myself as awesome. Because self-confidence is a good thing. It's either that or insecurity, in my case. My anxiety does not need to cover my sense of self-worth.

Of course, self-labeling is amazing.
Mine are 'artist', 'dude', 'dudette', 'future lawyer stand back', 'clear a path for this psychopath girl who reads', 'an alice', and 'wonderlandian'.

Oh, okay. Well, everyone says 'do what YOU want to do', but yeah, I get what you mean about parents wanting you to choose a specific career or whatever. My parents want me to be a doctor. Ugh. (I have absolutely no intention of doing that.) Or something that ISN'T the arts, at least. :/

My mom also wants me to be a doctor, but she changed my mind.
Thank goodness. I'm freaked out by surgery channels and needles.
But murder shows are pretty insane and fun. :3

Yeah being a lawyer sounds cool. Especially after watching Legally Blonde. Probably not the most accurate source of information, but eh. :P

Oh wow you're lucky then. For me, being freaked out with the surgery channels and stuff is one thing, but basically I have no interest in medicine at all. I don't have anything against the profession (like I know it's supposed to be really 'noble' or whatever) but I know I would hate it. :P

My parents want me to be a computer programmer or doctor, and pretty much nothing else.
I'd rather do architecture, writing, or graphics design, even if they don't make nearly as much money.

Yeah same, I'd love to be a graphic designer. I don't really care if my job makes a lot of money or whatever. I'd rather enjoy it... c:

Thanks to being part of a pretty cool private school, labels/cliques or whatever aren't a huge deal for me, although I do see a few of the main ones. Idk, there are lots of weird mood swings in my grade, so people can be nice at times and flat out mean at others.

And then people in my own grade don't think I'm that athletic because I'm in gifted and got the academic award and shtuff (but I also got the MVP for volleyball and the gold medal at 400m in our entire school district...?). So yes. I hate it when people label you as a 'jock', and think you have no brains, or a 'nerd', and think you can't kick a ball.
But that's me. I'm more of the bookworm, nerdy type, and I stink and fail greatly at sports.

You're like my twin. I don't get the awards (ha, not when you're homeschooled), but like I've been told I'm smart, by my mother, but she's my teacher, so could be true. I'd rather do the academic stuff, anyway. But I fail at every sport, so you are my long lost twin.
