Like, I take the english translation of a song and use that to re-write the lyrics from German, or Japanese, or whatever. :3
Sometimes ^_^ I attempted a French "let it go" and discovered that I still don't know enough words XD

Am I the only one that has no problem getting a tune, but takes forever to come up with good lyrics??

*raises hand*

I usually come up with good tunes, but I forget how they go after 10 seconds so they're really inconsistent and I never bother to continue thinking of them. When I do remember, I can't think of any lyrics at all. I can make up a short tune with some nice lyrics (that don't make sense but sound good for some reason), but, again, I usually forget how the heck I started the song, so I just give up before I have a chance to write down what I remembered. :I

I also do English versions to Japanese songs, but instead of doing exact translations (like my sister), I make sure they RHYME and I usually relate them to a story (or sometimes an idea, but usually I have a certain plot in mind when I actually write the lyrics). That's about it for my songwriting experience...

I just remember tunes by fingering them on an imaginary flute ^_^
Also, am I the only one that mainly writes songs while swimming the fly??

I just have the most random thoughts while I swim... sometimes I get songs stuck in my head, sometimes I think about how I want to just smack a certain person in the face (and later, after I finish the set, the certain person says I actually did so... coincidence much?!), and other times I'm just thinking "Breathe, arm stroke, et cetera."

I mostly think about how I'm doing, like, if I'm doing something wrong. But sometimes I think about my characters. And how I make them suffer so much. *shakes head* poor things. xD
