Welsh doesn't feature super prominently character wise but it's important to the mythology and Maggie does a great job incorporating it to her aims and blending it with nowadays things (I love her work so much and especially TRC). Gansey tend to use the angliacized spelling with people who aren't as likely to believe in his search, but she uses both (bonus: accents on Glyndwr where they should be when she uses that one). She's pretty knowledgeable herself tbh, even if the characters/book doesn't use it all. Ronan is heavily Irish, though not welsh, if that interests at all.
Honestly it's a beautiful series and I highly recommend it. You'll love them all, even fckin Kavinsky has value though I can't say I like that... piece of work.
Suffice to say Glyndwr is very important in his own way to the stories of the gangsey

Can we revive this thread.

I just finished the series and??? be still my beating heart. The characterization is perfect and Maggie Stiefvater obviously did a shitton of research on, uh. every little detail, and foreshadowing?? can I??? steal her knowledge on how to do that so well?????
